Sidemount diving is gaining a lot of popularity in the past years, not only in technical and cave-diving.
The benefits in terms of flexibility and gas-supply cause many divers to occasionally switch from mounting their tanks on the back to clipping them on their sides.
The Sidemount Diver course includes various topics such as equipment configuration and setup, trim, buoyancy and propulsion, gas management,
advantages and potential problems.
In a confined water session your Sidemount Instructor will explain you how and where to mount and dismount your tanks,
how to switch your tank and will work with you on your trim, so you can dive perfectly balanced.
In three open water dives you repeat previously learned exercises together with your instructor and learn how to respond correctly to potential problems while sidemount diving.
You will train in different environments, depths and conditions to maximize your Sidemount experience during the course.
After finishing the Knowledge Reviews in the Sidemount Diver Course eLearning successfully
and meeting all certification-requirements you will be certified immediately.
